At 10 years young, Randall is a little super star! He loves his tummy rubs, his walks, and his meals! He is gorgeous! He is playful! He is loving! He is house trained and walks great on leash! He loves getting his exercise in. Randall is dog selective, so he can live with another dog, but there will need to be slow intros to see if it’s the right fit for him
Home setting: Randall is dog selective, so he can live with another dog, but there will need to be slow intros to see if it’s the right fit for him. Mature and older children okay; no cats.
Jack is a special needs boy, but that doesn't even bother him. Jack is deaf, however he is the biggest goofball. His excitability and playfulness means that he will need mental as well as physical stimulation! Despite that, Jack will only need a walk about 3-5 times a week and it does not have to be a long one because he tires quickly. Unearned affection brings out his wild side so he will need someone who knows how to reward a calm state of mind. Despite his excitability, Jack does not have a bad bone in his body. He was taught to play rough as a puppy and he needs to be reminded that he cannot play like that with humans. Jack has had over $15,000 worth in training and will need an adopter who can learn how to use a vibration collar or has experience with an e-collar.
Home setting: Quiet household with calm, assertive owners; mature children 12 years and older. Jack thinks he is a lap dog and will climb into your lap if you let him. Strong and sturdy children are recommended. Calm and tolerant dogs are okay with proper introductions, Jack needs a referee because he does not pick up on social cues from other dogs very well. No small animals.
Colombo is a five-year-old fella who lost his family when they lost their home and had to move out-of-state. We knew that we had to keep him out of the shelter and so we took him in! He is a terrific boy with so much love to give. Colombo is a wiggle butt! He loves to go on adventures, exploring the outdoors and playing until the sun goes down! He is a love bug but tends to get overly excited so a home with kids who are sturdy would be preferred. He would do very well in an active home with lots of love and play time. Colombo has a medium energy level.
Home setting: Colombo would be best as an only dog, but he can learn to get along with another calm large dog with slow and proper introduction. Colombo would be great for a family with kids, but he needs to be taught how to behave around kids in his new home environment.
Shadow is about 2 years old and he's a pointer pit mix! Shadow is an active boy who loves humans of all sizes. Shadow would love a home where he can be the only king of his castle. Shadow loves to play fetch and going on long walks . The ideal home setting for Shadow is a home with kids 13 and older and/or an adult only home. Shadow has energy to spare so an active home would be perfect for him.
Talk about a transformation story! Our hearts are so full for GRAHAM. This pup spent nearly two years at the shelter, with the majority of his days spent sitting in his kennel in a loud, stressful environment. Volunteers just adored him and were pulling so hard for him. They were able to see the true dog that Graham was meant to be beyond his nervous exterior. Find out more information about Graham under the Adopt Me tab under his name!
Hanky-Panky lives the good life in Oregon and really had a chance to get snoutfuls of snow this past winter! A bull-dog, pit bull cross, he is a big dog in a small package! Hank has been in training to help him be his best and most confident self with all people. And since he loves cats a little TOO much, other dogs should be his best animal companions!
This big black boy is strong, loving and loyal and is in training to be the best dog that he can be! A low-rider pit bull mix, at about 70 pounds, Midgey is energetic, loves to run, hike, and play and cuddle with his favorite person.
Home setting: Currently, Midgey will work best in a home as a single animal, adults only, and he prefers women to men prior to proper introductions. He will remain in training until adopted and our trainer will help to introduce and acclimate him to your home!
Our doe-eyed Morgan mare is a sassy bay gal of 14 years and 14.2 hands who loves to be primped and fussed over! She looks so fancy with her long and lustrous braided black mane and her coat shines like glass when she has her bath! Sera came to join us when her owner suddenly passed away and she had nowhere to lay her pretty head. Thankfully, her former trainer agreed to foster her while we search for her forever home. Because of some manageable health-related challenges, Sera is no longer being ridden, nor is she a brood mare. She is simply a fabulous companion horse looking for a family to love. Could she be the mare for you? Find out more about her by emailing us through the Contact Us page.
